- New RSG Help menu:
- Ready,Set,Go! Help - The RSG User's Guide is now fully integrated into Apple Help and is fully searchable and printable.
- Diwan Web Site. - Takes you directly to our RSG information Center.
- Check for Updates - Tells you whether you are already using the latest version.
- Date time glossary shortcuts are now 't', 'y', 'd', 'f', 's'.
- Menu shortcut for Format -> Size -> Other... clashed with menu shortcut for Help.
Now Command-Shift-Apostrophe (') will bring up the Font Size dialog.
- Escape Character for Finding Tabs, returns and other special characters is now a backslash (\) instead of option-D.
- RSG Colours for text and fills on screen now match the real printer colours - CMYK and Pantone colours are matched on the screen to the printer using ColorSync.
- RGB colours now print as RGB not CMYK. There is a new option in Document -> Preferences -> Printing... -> Color Specs... to print all colors as CMYK, if you want the old behavior.
- RSG will remember the last selected size of the pages palette.

- Native PDF export. RSG can now convert documents to PDF without the need of an external application.
- Wide range of Postscript export formats including Save as EPS with the fonts embedded and Save as DCS, a special EPS format that maintains your color separation settings.
- Compatibility with Windows documents. RSG can now import and export RTF documents. It correctly imports documents generated by Microsoft Word on Windows and its RTF document can easily be opened on Windows while preserving the text and formatting correctly.
- Article Designer. A powerful article designer that will save the user hours by creating articles automatically from preset options.
