  • Keyboard shortcuts were interfering with menu shortcuts. This has been fixed.
  • Menu shortcut for Format -> Size -> Other... clashed with menu shortcut for Help.
    Now Command-Shift-Apostrophe (') will bring up the Font Size dialog.
  • Greek all Pictures option caused display issues when moving a picture with the cropping tool. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed a crash that happens when printing is cancelled after a page size warning.
  • Help for image search had all files unselectable when locating an image in Leopard.
    This has been fixed.
  • Fixed possible file corruption bug when saving a file with images in rare cases.
  • Fixed several issues importing and exporting RTF files.

  • Leopard compatibility - RSG fixed issues with fonts not appearing when printed from RSG. RSG is now handling font downloading itself instead of through the system. If you find a font that is not compatible with RSG please contact us at support@diwan.com.
  • New RSG Help menu:
    • Ready,Set,Go! Help - The RSG User's Guide is now fully integrated into Apple Help and is fully searchable and printable.
    • Diwan Web Site. - Takes you directly to our RSG information Center.
    • Check for Updates - Tells you whether you are already using the latest version.
  • A problem causing the custom font menu to be corrupted when a document is moved to different computer has been corrected.
  • Fixed issues importing RTF files containing Unicode text.
  • The restriction on the maximum page width has beeen increased to 42 inches from 36 inches.
  • Pictures are now printed using QuickTime if possible. This results in better image compression when generating PDFs and faster printing of large TIFF and JPEG images.
  • The old watch cursor has been removed, when RSG is handling a long process, in favour of the OS X beach ball (it's sad to see it go but we think it was crashing in Leopard).
  • Double Clicking on a page in Thumbnail view now actually goes to that page.
  • 'Delete key' as well as 'Backspace' will now delete a block.

  • Several fixes to "Generate PDF".
  • Justified, runaround text now appears correctly in PDF and EPS.
  • Patterned rules or borders don't appear solid in PDF anymore.
  • Switching off 'Use Binary Encoding' now gets saved.
  • Save "As Stationary" works again.
  • Old RSG 4 and 4.5 documents now open correctly.
  • Fixed crash when rotating text while Tiling is switched on.
  • Fixed a problem with Tab Column information.

    • Allowed horizontal scrolling

  • A compatibility issue with large displays has been resolved.
  • Greyscale tiff images can be adjusted by image control again.
  • No new document is created every time RSG is put back into the foreground.
  • Dashed Lines are now printing correctly to non-PostScript printers.
  • Crop Marks setting works correctly now.
  • Scroll Wheel Support as follows:
    • scroll - moves page up/down
    • crtl-scroll - moves page left/right
    • capslock speeds up all scroll wheel functions
    • command-scroll - special function:
      • nothing selected - goto next/prev page
      • text highlighted - increase/decrease font size
      • image selected (with cropping tool) - scale image +/-
  • Changing tools with keyboard shortcuts works correctly now.
  • A problem with importing MS Word RTF documents is fixed.
  • A problem with selecting certain EPS files in the Import Graphic directory window is fixed.
  • Old documents now open with the correct Scale for the Printer Setup.
Changes and fixes in Ready,Set,Go! 7.6.4
  • Safe-save. RSG saves to a temp file and then swaps it with the main file so the main file can never get corrupted.
  • PS font with a style name that begins with a hyphen '-' now gets saved to PDF correctly (e.g. Helvetica-Roman).
  • Improvements to handling of windows when multiple documents are open - this may have been a cause of some crashes.
  • It is now possible to paste text copied from outside RSG multiple times.
  • Font-widths stored in the document will be fixed if they differ to the font in the system.
  • Supports Emulsion down on PS Printers.
  • Plate selector now works correctly.
  • Export to PostScript now adds the fonts correctly.
  • The user's name is now being drawn in the splash screen and 'Demo' will be drawn for a demo version.
Changes and fixes in Ready,Set,Go! 7.6.3
  • All RSG files that are changeable are now inside the 'Application Support' Folder to allow RSG to be used on Macs with multiple users.
  • RSG printing options formerly found in the 'Print' and 'Printer Settings' dialogs can now all be found in the RSG 'Document' menu -> 'Preferences' menu -> 'Printing...' menu.
  • Printing rotated text and graphics to QuickDraw printers is greatly improved.
  • Text scaling, tracking and letterspacing now works with QuickDraw printers.
  • Fixed an issue with halftone screen for color images printed on a colour PostScript printer.
  • Fonts referenced by EPSF images print correctly.
  • RSG document windows and palettes behave better.
  • TIFF and JPEG in older RSG documents now appear correctly when opened in 7.6.
  • Scale block to graphic/graphic to block is fixed.
  • General preferences now in the RSG menu as well.
  • Allows to paste the serial number during registration.
  • Crash in Auto-Kern fixed.
  • Multiple copy/paste now works.
  • Does not save original image with the document any more.
  • Fonts disabled in the Panther Font book don't appear in the RSG fonts menu any more.
  • Problem that caused the font menu to become out of sync is fixed.
  • Problem with some PostScript fonts having bad widths on screen is fixed.
  • Problem with some fonts not appearing in PDF output is fixed.
  • Hi- res is now the default.
  • Imported JPEG from a digital camera does not cause VMError any more.
