- For choosing the 'Hand-tool' you have to now select the 'Option-key' (instead of the 'Control-key').

- Fixed a problem causing large EPSF files to fail printing.
- Some problems locating images after they have been moved are corrected.
- Color Separations to a Level 2 Postscript printer were not printing with the correct screening and angles in many cases. This has now been improved.
- Documents from older versions with Text Glossaries will now convert properly.

- IMPORTANT - the file format has been changed in version 7.0.8. RSG 7.0.8 or later can read files created by earlier versions of RSG but versions 7.0.6 or earlier will not be able to read documents created by 7.0.8 or later.
- A bug causing tiff pictures not to appear in the document has been fixed.
- Some tiff files would resize to their default resolution on reopening the document. This no longer happens.
- Some problems in text import have been fixed.

- A problem opening US version documents of RSG 4.0 has been fixed.
- Save Page/Spread as EPSF no longer creates EPS images which are flipped.
- A small virtual memory problem is fixed.
- Plate names drawn on screen do not move after printing.
- Several problems with LaserWriter Driver 8 have been fixed.
- With LaserWriter 8, RSG now uses the paper sizes set up by the PPD file for the driver and not the MPD file. MPD files are still needed for color separation.
- Several problems with hyphenated text are fixed.
- Save As over an existing file used to fail. This no longer happens.
- Fixed some problems when opening documents for older version of RSG.

- New* Text redraw has been greatly speeded up.
- New* We now use the new Tabs dialog box - this appears as a window over the current block.

- New* RSG can now read old 4.0 files.
- A problem saving files on disks larger that 2GB is fixed.
- Maximum number of Grid divisions is raised from 100 to 200.
- Cmd-click selected the hand tool and overrode other cmd-click options now control-click for hand tool and other Cmd-Click options work normally.

- Cmd-Resize picture block resizes the contents in the same proportion as the block
- Cmd-Click on a block selects the block behind

- An occasional crash when the typography palette is open has been fixed.
- Some problems reading TIFF files are fixed.
- Sometimes the master page menu would appear when scrolling the Pages Palette. This no longer happens.
- RSG no longer has problems with some documents opened from the Finder.
- On faster Mac's the Pages Palette would scroll way too fast. It has been slowed down a little.
- Several problems with facing pages and grouped objects have been fixed.
- 'General Preferences' - it was not possible to change the 'Show Print Area' setting in some documents. This is now fixed.
- Pictures will draw where you put them with LW Driver 8.
- It is now possible to import text without XTND installed.
- Gradient Fills now default to color separate and not to print on Black Plate only.
- Text highlight now shows on blocks with colored backgrounds.
- Some images pasted into Picture Blocks were not able to be separated.
- Fixed a problem with losing images when trying to relocate them.
- Improved JPEG reading - RSG now reads most JPEG files (except CMYK JPEG).
- RSG tags color separations with the correct plate color. Fixes problems with some OPI systems and imagesetter. screening.
- Many problems with display and separation of colors are now fixed.
- RSG now centers the scroll bars correctly when resizing a page in 'Size To Fit' view.
- Several bugs in Tabbed text are now fixed.
- Fixed a problem selecting a single character with its own format.
- Several other fixes to improve stability of RSG.
