I downloaded the Ready,Set,Go! installer and the file disappeared at the end. What happened to it?
Normally a file from the internet gets downloaded to a folder specified in your browsers 'Preferences'.
I have several old Ready,Set,Go! and DesignStudio documents which I would like to use. Can the latest Ready,Set,Go! open and save them?
Ready,Set,Go! will open an old RSG document down to version 4 and a DesignStudio document down to version 1.0. Ready,Set,Go! 7.1 will automatically save it with the name 'Copy of (filename)' in order not to overwrite the old document. Whereas Ready,Set,Go! 7.2 or later can save documents that are compatible with Ready,Set,Go! versions 6 and 7.0 (see next question).

The 'Copy of..' is a feature that is meant to protect old files so that they are not lost in the process of the conversion. This is important, because the new Ready,Set,Go! versions are not backward compatible, which means, once you save a file in versions later than 7.0.6 you cannot open it in an older version of Ready,Set,Go! anymore.
What happens if I open Ready,Set,Go! 6 or 7.0 documents in Ready,Set,Go! 7.2 or later?
Ready,Set,Go! 7.2 or later has now a feature called 'Save as Ready,Set,Go! 6 and 7.0 file'
It can save documents that are compatible with Ready,Set,Go! versions 6 and 7.0.
- When a version 6 or 7.0 file is opened, Ready,Set,Go! will ask if it should be converted to version 7.2 or later. If it is not, the file will remain compatible with version 6 or 7.0 even after saving.
- When you choose 'Save As' from the File menu, there is a new item in the menu at bottom of the 'Save As' dialog window. This item called 'Ready,Set,Go! version 6 and 7.0 ' will save a Ready,Set,Go! document as a version 6 or 7.0 file.

I am unable to increase the memory size of Ready,Set,Go! 7.2.8 under "Get Info" in Mac OS 9. It is fixed at 4000K. Any suggestions?
To change the memory allocation of Ready,Set,Go! 7.2.8 in Mac OS 9 you need to quit it first before highlighting the Ready,Set,Go! application inside the Ready,Set,Go! folder, then choosing 'Get Info' -> 'Memory' from the 'File' menu. Following that you will be able to change the memory allocation for Ready,Set,Go! by increasing the 'Preferred Size' to at least 10000K.
How do I update or upgrade Ready,Set,Go! version 6 to a Mac OS 8 or later compatible version?
RSG 6 is not fully compatible with Mac OS 8.x or later and PrinterDriver 8. It is an old version and we do not support or update it anymore. You will need to upgrade to RSG 7.2.8 for Mac OS 9 or RSG 7.6 for Mac OS X. Both will be able to open your old RSG 6 documents.
When I start Ready,Set,Go! 7.0 it loads okay but I cannot use any of the tools. What do I do?
You will need our Ready,Set,Go! 7.0.9c update that is compatible with Mac OS 8.x and 9.x.
You can download the free 7.0.9c updater for Ready,Set,Go! 7.0 from our FTP server (please follow
